FORMER BACHELOR CONTESTANT ERIN STORM DIES IN PLANE CRASH.

Erin Storm, a contestant on season 12 of The Bachelor, has died.

Several of Storms' friends confirmed the pilot's passing on social media Tuesday.

Friend Christiana Marie began a series of posts dedicated to Storm, first writing on her Facebook page early this morning: "It is with the heaviest heart I've ever had to be posting this. My sweet Erin Storm You have changed my life in many ways and showed me what TRUE BEST FRIENDS are all about!!! Heaven just received the most incredible angel in the world. ... I am filled with such sadness to lose one of the most incredible friends I've EVER had in my life. I'm still in shock woman. I LOVE YOU with everything I am. I will NEVER get over the loss of you.

Friend Joshua Daniel also posted a memorial for Storm – who participated in Matt Grant's season of the ABC reality show – on hisFacebook page on Tuesday.

"I'm super sad to say that my friend Erin Storm passed away yesterday in a light aircraft accident," he wrote. "Erin was a beautiful person inside and out, and that anyone who knew her would tell you the same. She was always a very nice, caring person who beat to her own drum. She was loved by many people and will be dearly missed."

Daniel's post continues, "I've lost touch with many great people through out my life and was able to reunite with Erin through the Internet. Though I never got the chance to come visit her in LA, I am grateful that I at least got to share a small piece of her life in the recent years. God speed Erin, the world has just experienced a great loss."

Multiplelocaloutlets first reported the news that a woman, now confirmed to be Storm, died in a plane crash that took place Monday around noon in Hawthorne, California.

The Hawthorne Police Department also posted news of the crash on itsFacebook page Monday.

The HPD release reads: "On Monday, March 21, 2016, at about 12:00 PM, Hawthorne police officers were dispatched on a report of an airplane crash in the area of 120th Street & Crenshaw Blvd. Officers located a small, single-seat aircraft on fire in the 3300 block of 120th Street, directly north of Hawthorne Airport."

"A nearby construction crew witnessed the crash and was able to remove the pilot (sole occupant) from the wreckage prior to the arrival of emergency services. The pilot of the aircraft was treated by LA County Fire personnel, and transported by ambulance to Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Carson. Unfortunately, the pilot did not survive."

According to her Facebook page, Storm was working as a pilot for Pacific Blue Air, an aircraft training facility based at Hawthorne Airport, at the time of her death.
